OSAKI ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Mitsuyasu Watanabe) has been recognized with a “B” rating in the CDP Climate Change assessment, following the previous year.

The OSAKI Group contributes to improving energy efficiency through the widespread adoption of its core product, the smart meter. We also provide solutions centered around energy management systems, including the “visualization of CO₂ emissions,” “support for formulating CO₂ reduction plans,” and “assistance with executing CO₂ reduction plans,” thereby helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions across society.

To ensure steady progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions within the Group, OSAKI has set a target of reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 46% by fiscal 2030, compared with fiscal 2013 levels.

Moving forward, OSAKI is committed to contributing to the reduction of CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions by visualizing these emissions and their reduction effects, in line with its corporate purpose: “We create new value for society through the visualization of the invisible.”
